What is it?

WHERE is it??

I've seen FEW sporatic refrences here and there on line, but not even ElBox have a picture of it!

Are they 'really' wating for OS4.0 (like the rest of us!) or is this another example of Amiga Vaporware?

I would LOVE to get a G3 or G4 into my Amiga and make it faster (and less bloated) than my eMac running 10.3!

Are there any viable G3/G4 options for Amiga right now? I've noticed in Macworld that there are several CPU upgrade cards for Macintosh, wouldn't you LOVE to be able to pop one of those into an Amiga TODAY????

Sheesh!
This sure got lively!!

So to sum up:
1. Some PPL like morphOS (I aint one of them!)
2. Some PPL are waiting for OS4 (I'm an idiot too)
3. it would be cool to G4 up a classic Amiga

Besides- if I went Aone, where would I get a A1200 MOBO to plug into it??

Remember the original specs, you'd need one for better compatibility!

I actually kinda liked that original design, but really the self contained PPC mainboard solutions (both A1 and Peg) are clearly "the better mint..."


Perhaps....
Bet morphos has gotten a little to far away from the goal in my opinion...

I love your attitude, unfortunatly I have sold out. :(
Not big like everyone else that's gone all windowey and such, but I go use Macintoshes at home while the A4000 sits quiet on a desk (for now!)
I woul dreally love to use the Amiga OS on a G4 or like my new system, a G5.  It would be a pure realization of the Amiga dream that we have all had for so long.....

yes.. but it's fun!

Kind of like modernizing a classic car.
Imagine putting a modern engine and electrics in an MG B! It would be a sweet ride, expensive but thouroughly modern!

Same thing with Upgrading amiga HW.

I just wish everyone else would 'get it'
