What user group are you targetting ? The same as Windows Media  Center ?

Well, I'm not interested in any Media Center kinda stuf, but I hope you succeed. Wil be a very long and not to mention though battle...

But wouldn't they expect it to be nearer $299... and beable to run lots of software?

I'll admit I didn't look long for any prices for Media Center PC's, but IIRC to get the most out of it, people need a reasonable specced PC and I think I saw them priced at about $1000. (could be wrong, but with all the extra Eyecandy ontop of WinXP...)
