1. I got two HDs connected to my Amiga and the second one cant be formatted. When I do it and it tries to finish it, it says that it is a non-dos disk.

How big is the drive/partition ?If it is bigger then 4Gb then WB2 can't use that by default.. Either make the partition smaller or upgrade to the newer file system.. Have to look up on how to do that for ya.. Must be around on this site somewhere..

2. What program should you use in order to unpack *.adz files from the Amiga to a disk?

I remember somebody mentioned a Amiga Program that could do that.. Not sure tho... Otherwise, just unzip them and use ADF2Disk... Search on amitnet for those..

Thanks for the fast reply.

Your welcome.

It is a 10mb HD.

Ah.. An oldy then... Could be that some sectors are damaged.. Can you see it correctly in HD-Toolbox ? There should be an option to check for and mark "bad blocks"... Using WinUAE, with a directorie as a harddisk, so HD-Toolbox is useless for me, and don't have WB2 here..

If I wanna unpack a *.adz show I just exchange the file extension for the apropriate file?

No, I don't think so... adz is an adf image but zipped.. AFAIK, adf2disk can't uncrompress it..

[edit[
There is an amiga version of unzip on aminet, several even...
