Some kind of hardware problem.  Donno more than that.  I honestly haven't heard of that specific problem before.....

It sounds similar to a problem I had where the stereo I had my miggy plugged into developed a hardware problem on certain inputs where the sound was really low or off.  So I had to plug my Amiga into some different inputs on the back of my stereo and then all was well.

If you are using the stock A600 then you will be limited to 4 channels.

But if you upgrade your A600 with an accellerator then you can do 64 channels like the rest of us. :)
