If they are related to something your interested in

"your" is wrong.  It should be "you're" or "you are".

You could not possibly afford 70 Yottabytes of bandwidth.  I think you might have meant "Terrabytes" or "bunches" or "huge stacks of bytes" :D

@hishamk

How is it unethical to block ads?

Well, the fact that you're perusing and utilizing a site's service (be it information, forums, etc), the least you could do is not disable their pay-per-click ads, since that's what usually pays the bills for the many sites on the web (including blogs, etc).
...
 Blocking them on your machine would prevent any user of your computer from every clicking on them, which is kind of unfair, considering the fun you get from the sites. Kapische?

Well, the fact that I am perusing and utilizing a site's service (be it information, forums, etc), the least they could do is not disable my computer with their pay-per-click flash ads, since that's what usually connects me to sites on the web (including blogs, etc).

  Disabling my entire computer and/or crashing it, prevents any user of my computer from ever clicking on them, or doing anything else on the internet, which is kind of unfair, considering the fun I get from the internet. Kapische?

I love Amiga-related banner ads!

As long as they are
A: Not Flash
or
B: Lite Flash only.  No 200% CPU power, disable Windows XP Multitasking, Heavy Flash.

btw: I have never blocked ads before.  I only block Flash.  I was forced to start blocking Flash after Flash ads crashed my computer the umpteenth time.

I love Amiga-related banner ads!  That is why I am glad I did not win the contest!  I did not want to be banned from seeing Amiga-related banner ads on Amiga.org.
