What is the most underevaluated spell in Total Chaos?

Then, out of the blue, when things were looking good for me,
an enemy rhinocerous advanced right onto my wizard
from an unguarded path.

You know Total Chaos is a strategy game don't u? :-D

Part of the strategy is guarding the paths to your Wizard,
as tne AI players are not completely stupid.

I had not cast any defensive spells on my wizard yet
(like a pair of elf boots)
So my wizard was stuck trying to fight the rhino.
Rhinos are very powerfull creatures
so my unboosted wizard had no chance of killing it.

A Rhinoceros can take out a Jeep Wrangler(tm) no problem.
I saw it on the Discovery Channel; Explore your world. :-)

The 2nd most important thing in Total Chaos is to protect your wizard.

LOL!!!  It doesn't take 15 mins to load.  It takes 15 mins to decompress the sound samples with the dogslow ixesux sound decompression program from aminet.

If you had an Apollo 50 Mhz 060 then it would have really been 7 mins.  Less if you had a Blizzard 060.

My friend (who is lurking on here somewhere) said it took 2 hours on his 3000 Mhz Intel Pentium UAE.

Now that the hundreds of sound samples are decompressed, the game will load more quicklier.

 Ok, so I lost my first game against the computer. But it is 1:30am in the morning. Must be sleep time soon Better have a look at the docs in the morning... I wanna know how the computer turned my big, beautiful, yellow dragon into a weedy little vulture!! GRRRR!

Hehehe here are some possibilities:
1: Perhaps the evil enemy wizard cast Alter Reality on your Golden Dragon.
2: Most Likely your dragon was standing on top of a dead Vulture when the evil enemy wizard hit your dragon with a Vengeance or Justice or Dark Power spell.  If u use one of those spells to kill something, the victim gets whatever it was standing on as a consolation prize.  This means those megapowerful spells must be used strategucally.

In my first game, my dragon got turned into an orc and so did my Harpy.  I was sooo mad!
Be happy u got a Vulture! They are much better than Orcs.  :-)

Never trust a CPU Wizard!  They have been programmed with AE (Artificial Evil) and will use the power of a Motorola M68040 32bit processor to do horrible things to you!  Kill them quickly!

You must strategize: Which is the biggest threat to u right at this moment?

 (The zombie ended up killing me cause my griffins and eagles couldn't touch it.)

Zombies only deal 2 points of damage so u should have plenty of time to kill him.

Zombies are sooooo ez to kill: They have 0 Intelligence and 0 Magic Resistance so any spell that deals that kind of damage will kill it instantly.  For Example:
Magic Bolt
Lightning
Brain Drain
Several others....

 Or do I head straight for the enemy wizard? Then there is also these independents that seem to get in the way!!

Try to let the independents fight the enemy wizards
or if u r having probs learning the game then u can ez just turn off the independents.
Independents are created by the Monster Generators.
On the Setup Screen 2 just set GENERATORS to 0.

The game will then be very ez and even a newbie like u can win!  :-D

The zombie was souped up cause it was dealing 15 damage a pop!

The Wizard must have equipped his Zomboe with a Chainsaw or enchanted it with a Combat spell.  Either way it works out good for you because when u play ur Lightning card onto it he loses 2 cards (the Zombie creature card and the Enchantment card).

I tried it again today and managed to kill the other wizard.

You are a 1st level wizard now!  :-D

I'm very impressed with the music and sound effects, some are quite funny!
