Two, MOST importantly, Amigainnovation.com, dwayne osborne, has told me I cannot buy the system as yet, as it will not be coming out until Early April.

Cheers 8-)

Dwayne Osb' eh, there's a familiar name.

Is he still doing Amiga stuff, I thought hed moved on to another obscure and expensive technology?  :-P

...Guess we'll just have to wait till "Early April" and see what happens (or doesnt).

I think Amiga would be extremely Insane if they didnt take it this time round, coz then, Hate to say it, Amiga may well be a thing of the past...

Ainc are "extremely insane".

Brief history lesson;

There -was- an opportunity lift the brands profile, put it all over a bunch of hardware gadgets, MP3 players, phones, Amiga-in-a-joystick, games compilations ect and create a new desktop OS alternative.

Over the last 5+ years Ainc have repeatedly failed to capitalise on the brand.  Here's one example;

The OS was available in beta on extremely expensive PPC based hardware; (anyone want a buggy AUD$1000+ motherboard?), now the OS is finally out of beta, the hardware has dried up, so there's nothing to run it on.

Do you see the problem?

Most people are now content with classic hardware and/or emulation.

You are an interesting and entertaining character arent you!

Heh, I would say the same about you, but Ive heard this old revivalist rhetoric so many times before, the entertainment quality is now somewhat lacking.

Just because this big Amiga revival idea has only just occured to you, doesnt mean it hasnt been heard before on this forum to the point that its now dull and predictable.

I wonder if you realise just how obtuse you're being?
