You are way too paranoic. I suggest seeking professional help. I can't imagine you buying something cheap off ebay for five bucks, then waiting month or two for the free shipping.
I guess you would be happy to pay 30$ for UPS from China just in case your parcel don't gets lost, or buy it locally for five times the price. I order regulary online and don't worry that much about the parcels. They come sooner or later, but if they don't, the sellers would refund me or the insurance will cover it. Ever heard of insurance?
