I thought there's already MAME for AOS4 now and Amiga Version of UAE?
MAME (along with MESS) was one of the first programs ported to OS4 and shown before the prerelease at the
OS4Essen Event. UAE is also available in form of E-UAE.
At least to get old games work on the NextGens. :-)

No you are not wrong. Backwards compatibility is something vital for the AmigaOS 4 and it's being worked all the time, in one form or another.
