I've read somewhere (can't remember where) that some boxed versions of the GBS8200 for the Amiga (quite possibly this one) power the unit from the voltage pins provided by the Amiga RGB connector, however the current draw is greater than that recommended by the Amiga specs so it could cause damage to the Amiga. So it's worth checking first.
