Amiga 3000 SCSI Harddrives

Was the 3000 known to be hard to install SCSI drives in? I have installed SCSI's on Amigas,IBMs,Servers......and I have 5 SCSI HD's here at the house and the 3000 will only take 1 of them. I know all about setting the ID and terminators. This thing is being a pain!

Anyone have any tricks?
