it could definitely happen with the right marketing and software, promotion etc
although not in the immediate future, but hey it has to start somewhere, and the AmigaOne running OS4 seems to be a great start into getting the Amiga up to date and in the 21st century

i think if the amiga is to become successful, it will be word of mouth.
it CAN be done.
eyetech, amiga inc etc do not have the money to market the product sufficiently, but if every amiga user in possession of OS4/A1 was to convert 3 of their freinds to invest in such a machine then the market for the platform would start to increase for the first time in a dangerous amount of years  :-)

a lot of people seem to share the same thoughts as you,
however it is understandable after the amigas past that you feel this way, broken promises etc.

but i think very soon your minds will change, OS4 is absolutely 100% NOT a broken promise or fake, it is here now in the hands of developers (or in the next couple of days - no doubt about it) and once you use it you might find that the amiga still has a superior feel to other modern operating systems

goodnight!

and during the time amiga takes to come out on top again, we can enjoy a nice powerful, knowingly superior cult machine hehe  :-)

i was wondering if there are any plans to port AROS to Macintosh computers running MacOS..

if not, would you consider this if there was sufficient demand?

would it be too hard a task and require additional developers?

is it possible, even  if you are not willling to due to the complexity of it all?

because some people on amiga.org do not use PC's and have no high spec Amigas, and would be interested in trying out AROS for the Mac  :-)
