geniune disks are more valuable and nicer to have yes but pirate software is cheaper and you can get more games that way. pirate software didnt do the amiga any favours once commodore went bust and the hardware was outdated but as none of these developers work on the amiga anymore, nevermind distribute their games on floppy disks, using copies for old games really shouldn't be such a big deal anymore.
