NTSC Screen on SVGA Monitor
« on: September 11, 2004, 08:55:32 PM »
Hi All

I have just got hold of a 17in Axion SVGA monitor to connect to my 4000d via a Arxon Scandoubler. However, the monitor will only accept 60hz as its default, not the 50hz required for a double scanned PAL screen.

I have switched my 4000d from PAL to NTSC to use the monitor in this way, but whenever I try to play any sort of PAL game the image is pushed to far down the screen with some actually missing from it.

Is there anyway the position of the NTSC can be modified or even any other solution

Cheers

Sorry, I did not explain this well enough

Using Workbench is fine, but booting from any disk based software, especially games, give this problem!
