AOS 3.9 HDTB
« on: November 14, 2003, 12:44:15 AM »
Hi!
I am trying to install a 4 GB SCSI Seagate Barracuda on scsi.device but there are some problems. Namely if I use FFS all seems ok but I want PFS3 and that is where I have problems. I consistently get an "Error 2 (or4) in drive description" message when trying to save the changes to the drive. Then after reboot there are three equally sized FFS (!) partitions on the drive. Now I was able to partition (with PFS3 and all) the drive with HDTB from AOS 3.1 (no problems whatsoever with that) but why should I have to use that if there is a newer easier to use and supposedly better HDTB? Did anybody have similar problems?
Windows does not cut the mustard.  But it does cut the cheese.

Can anybody tell me what those errors are?
