Max RAM on CSPPC
« on: March 30, 2006, 02:24:40 AM »
Hi!
I know that CSPPC can be upgraded to 128 MB but does that memory have to be of any particular type? ie one sided, FP, ECC or what? Thanx.

It did not answer my question completely.

Thanks for the info. Next question: I haven't taken a look at my CSPPC in a while but it was crowded in there. Would the two sided modules fit? Also it says the memory should be 60-70ns. Would the 50ns ones work? I think they should but does anybody have a different experience? Also those SIMM's should be installed in pairs but for 128MB do they have to be all identical, ie. from one manufacturer, one model?

@ Dandy:
If the CSPPC goes into an A3000 the tall modules won't fit. Also it doesn't say if they have to be put in matched pairs.
