I think some PR damage repair needs to be done on this one before people get disillusioned.

Maybe they could limit the specification of a system to just a hard drive with OS4 Pre-installed.

Didn't Amiga inc hire some new marketing people recently?

They had better get to work then because I want to build my own A1

If I was a reseller I would build a system,  price it (including my profit) and then add an extra $50 dollars on top just to honour those coupons.

Not specifying the upper price limit of the discounted system is a mistake.

Please please get them to clarify this in an official statement.

Half the fun of the new A1 is going to be in the building and customisation of it.

After all if it is all a misunderstanding  then it is preventing sales of the coupon thus it is in their own interest to elaborate.

Pity about the delay, I also had decided to purchase Amithlon 2 so that I could have a decent system while i was waiting for 'other' things to progress.

Actually , I was a bit surprised when I heard about the licensing issue being sorted out.

My first thoughts were "this is too good to be true"

I was right.

Lets just hope it doesn't drag on and on.

We really should be used to seeing things 'not going so smoothly' in the Amiga market by now.

Poor Bernie, he does something good for the community and look how he gets treated. :-?
