Here are a few Mods that look interesting:

Video-Directory Remixed

A place for users to catalogue their youtube video collections.

I can see at least one user who would find it immensely useful to catalogue his games videos.

..........................

Article Forums

This could be a possible solution to creating an article section. Demo can be seen here

......................

And finally, I hope we don't have to use this but if doomy or his ilk plagues the site again we may just have the perfect solution in this next mod:

Miserable Users

.............................

I've submitted all three of them to the Project Manager for consideration.

Is it me or is there no RSS? I would like to add the News Forum to my phone so that I get notified on any new news items.

I'm not sure if it is a valid RSS feed but you can track the news here:

Actually you might want to submit a request in the project tracker/Bug reporter asking for RSS feeds to be enabled.

OK scratch that last request.

I've found the feeds :D

http://www.amiga.org/forums/external.php?type=rss For general feeds.

And

http://www.amiga.org/forums/external.php?f=2?type=rss  for the specific news forum.

Actually just insert any forum number after the F=  to get that forum's particular feed.

Maybe this info should be added to the FAQ if there isn't a simpler way of doing it.

Thanks, shrinking works. But did I get it right that also moving of elements is possible? If so, how? Dragging at least seems not to work here.
You need to put the page into a special editable mode first before dragging is possible.

Do this by clicking on the text on top right of the page that says "Customize this page."

Once you have fished click again on the text whiich will now say "Exit Customization Mode"

Enjoy!

@GadgetMaster

That's exactly what I had done, but it doesn't work here (just shrinking does).

Tried with Firefox 2.0.0.20 on Windows ME as well as with Sputnik on MorphOS.

Therefore I thought some qualifier (like shift or ctrl kept pressed while moving) might be needed maybe, but that's obviously not the case either.

You are right you don't need any key combination pressed. Just clicking on the title bar of any block in when in 'edit mode' should allow you to drag it into a predefined area marked with dashed lines. (options available = left, right or centre)

AFAIK this type of layout interface uses DHTML. It may be an issue with your javascript settings on the firefox side at least.

(You use WinME :nervous:)

Try it on someone else's PC if possible.
