We're back online, but in what I call "beta" form.

I apologize for the delay, but had a couple of glitches which required me to rebuild the site's new theme from scratch today, from a completely different machine than the one I used to build it the first time.

There are still little problems, and yes, I know about the header displaying the whole "Welcome unregistered" thing, but we'll get there.

Questions or comments can go here.

Wayne

Sorry to hear about the teething problems. Sucks to have to repeat work already done.

Glad to see that the move is mostly done. A few tweaks here and there are to be expected so thanks for your time and effort.

zomg!

hmm some weird 10 char limit here. that sucks a bit, I need to add some spaces or something to my customary "yes" and "no" posts. :-)

Hmm.......

There are always ways around the restrictions. ;)

Pheeew. What a stressful weekend eh ? Reloaded every once in a while, damn that was disturbing at times.

BRAVO, guys.

Now I re-subbed to the RSS feeds (I'm using netvibes but not for long I'd say), only I used FFox built-in function to find it. I humbly suggest to advertise them more explicitely. What I'll be missing most is the random pic and photo forums. Oh and let's not forget the essential : Where is the favicon gone ?

It actually feels good to have a brand new A.org.

I think all the other stuff like galleries is going to be implemented soon. The first phase was to get the forums ported over with as much data intact as possible.

I'm sure there is still a lot to be done but we will have to be patient as these things are time consuming and spare time is a rare commodity for most people.

We all currently have our post counts intact but this will probably change once the auto-maintenance runs for the first time as mentioned by Wayne.

That will remove all the orphaned posts and corrupt data and will trim our post counts down a little.

If you want to regain your high post counts after that you have to become more active on the site. (Which isn't a bad thing IMHO)

You know what?

I'm already getting used to this new layout. :D

Guy's don't forget to go into your options and enable the advanced WYSIWYG editor and set the correct Time Zones amongst other tweaks.
