A friend once got really annoyed when he started receiving dozens of calls from people ringing him to pick up a bargain. It turns out that someone had placed a 'too good to be true' free ad in the paper as a practical joke. I don't think he saw the funny side to it.
How do we know that this number is genuine. I for one would not go around pasting my personal phone number all over the internet.
