Had the pleasure of running into "LoadWB" from this forum back at VCF Southeast.  I am still churning through all my footage, but have been able to edit together his interview (he gives us a tour of his beautiful upgraded A1200) an interview with Glenn Keller, designer of the Paula chip, an interview with Trevor Dickinson of A-EON Technology, and a recording of The Viva Amiga Panel.

Thanks for the tour of your A1200 LoadWB.  It was a pleasure hanging out with you and I hope you like the video!

Awesome post Bill! I just watched to vid with LoadWB and it's great! Really nice to put a face with these great veterans of Amiga! Gotta get one of those DOM devices! :) Thanks for posting!

Thanks so much Gizmo!  Glad you enjoyed it!  Yeah, I have never seen a DOM in action before.  That Rapidroad USB is really great as well and those A1200.net cases look even better in person than they do in the photos and videos.  I think I am going to have to send my 1200 motherboard to Acill soon as well.

If you like my videos that put faces to the names here are a few more:

Dave Haynie talking about the Amiga days at VCF East

Greg Berlin Commodore Engineer

Our Commodore Retrospective Exhibit with Bil Herd at 14min 30sec

Hope you enjoy them :)

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  Much appreciated.  We certainly aren't pro on-camera talent but are doing our best to improve and thank so much to LoadWB fir agreeing to do the interview because it is difficult to be on camera especially when it is your first time.

Nice, some I've already watched. Your channel intro is awesome.
In the end you know that you'll have to do a Jim Sachs interview and convince him to do a Kickstarter for a book about how to draw pixel art the Jim way ;)

Thanks so much.  Would love to do and interview with him.  For now the boys at The Retro Hour have you covered with a great audio interview

Woah!  I'm partly famous :)

VCF was a blast and it was great getting to meet and hang out with everyone.  I'm looking forward to next year and a bigger and better display.

Bill, I just found your card today and will be emailing you tonight.

EDIT: Oh, dude!  Just watched.  Excellent video, thank you.  Made me look like a lot less of a spaz and gave my sweet lady the exposition she deserves.  I was pretty sure I made a mistake about the Gotek rather than the HDX floppy emulator for the case knock-out -- I don't use either so I figured I screwed that up.

Ha ha, thanks again LoadWB.  VCF SE was an absoulte blast.  So many good people down there.  We will most likely get back next year - fingers crossed. and you are always welcome up here at VCF East!

Ah I didn't even catch the Gotek thing.  I just checked the website and it appears it is for Lotharek's HxC Floppy emulator.  No biggie. I backed the keycaps kickstarter and am getting a CD32 color case to match.  The thing is I want to keep my 1200 as it is because it is in great condition, so I will put a RaspberryPi3 in the case.  I will get the Keyrah and try to find a dead 1200 or extra 1200 keyboard to put in there.  That is the downside.  I would rather try to fix a dead 1200 then just rip the keyboard out of it.  Maybe they will make a keyboard kickstarter one day or even make a USB keyboard that fits in the 1200 case.  That would be amaing!  So much fun stuff
