WinUAE and installing hd games
« on: January 08, 2004, 02:48:49 PM »
Hi,
I *finally* got winUAE to work, and have downloaded some games from http://www.back2roots.org/.

I've managed to set up 2 harddrives (hardfiles), one for workbench etc, and one for games. I have it "booting" from the harddrive now.

However I can't quite seem to figure out how to get the game install into uae and eventually onto the games drive. (for instance the contents of BeneathASteelSkyHD_en.zip from back2roots site).

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Yeah that is a much easier way to do things!

Thanks, it now all works.

Boy I must have had some very strong rose tinted glasses remembering how the games used to be! :-D

I guess it's to do with the way our brain stores memories, as shapes and general colours. When we recall the memory the brain does a "Binlinear Filter" on the contents giving us an impression things looked "better".  :-P
