Or may be an old virus !!!

Try an empty system if you can (no hdd, no eflash....), just the floppy with its cable (are sure of the sense ? does it damaged or twisted ?)

If you have an external drive and kick >1.3 try to go in the early and try to boot on it.

Hi,
so my advice :
open the external drive, and pickup drive and its data cable and put it in the A2000 and tell us what happen.

OCS so you might have kick 1.3 and no early kick...

and if you have a bunch of dead floppy drive, i can try to make some relive  :rtfm:
