Amiga 2000/060 interest here before I send it to ???

I have an Amiga2000 with GVP TekMagic 060 with 48MB, ASDG Dual Serial, GVP Spectrum 2MB, KS3.1, OS3.5, DKB MegaChip, 2GB, 1GB and 500MB SCSI HDs, two DD floppy drives, internal SCSI CDROM, external SCSI CDROM, keyboard, a couple mice, always been in a non-smoking environment. Software - ADPro, TurboCalc, AmigaDOS back to 2.04, plus others (I'll make up a complete list at some point, if requested).

I would like to see what the interest in such system would be before I decide what to do with it. It still boots up fine after 15 years of service. That last time I was inside it, about 3 years ago, the battery looked fine, no leakage, but it may need replacing. Again, I can dig a little deeper if the interest is there.

This is my second Amiga that I had after selling my A1000 way back in 1989(?). I would like to get fair value for this machine. I realise what it is so I am not looking for thousands of dollars. I'm not going to say that it is way better than any of those AGA machines (hehe, yah Doomy). Please send serious offers to PM or legopete at rogers dot com.

It has been my pride and joy for a number of years, so I am having some pre-separation angst. Reality is I just don't use it that often anymore and I need to raise some cash for a digital SLR. I do use AmigaForever every now and then, so I figure if I really miss that Amiga feeling, I'll build an Amiga Forever box.

I wish I could keep my military spec Amiga, but it just doesn't get the use it used to get. I know I will miss it, but, like I said, if I miss it too much I'll just build an AmigaForever box - I currently have enough pieces to do so. When I went to cable modem I stopped using it (no more net access) and I just can't justify spending $150+CAD for a bloody Zorro-RJ45-NIC. Also, I am changing other hobby areas - switching film SLR to digital SLR. I also have come to the conclusion that I just have too much freakin' stuff. I think my hobby IS hobbies - Lego, model rockets, RC cars, slot cars, computers, photography, stamps, kites, woodworking, music - and I have to start thinning the list. So if any of you guys want any Lego, model rockets, or RC car stuff, let me know.
