There was one thing, Eyetech used to sell it. bit of a hack (although I'm sure it was a well tested hack !) as it clipped over the top of the Gayle (IIRC) chip on the A1200 mobo by cunning use of a PLCC socket.
(which would probably preclude use of a fast IDE board)
bit dodgy, you have to watch for physical stability and firmness of connection, and then you need to watch that Gayle doesnt overheat. however, I seem to remember reports that it did work quite well. anyone ?
