They do CCDs on USB now do they ? cool !

any software for the miggy to connect to one ?

go on them tonyw, whats your setup ?

I have a 3" Schmidt-Newtonian reflector (alt-az mount :-( ) from Broadhurst Clarkson and Fuller, which I hardly use these days - y'know - work, kids, no garden to speak of - living in the middle of the west midlands ...
did some great astronomy on it when I was younger though - orions' belt, Jupiter (saw the Galileans and some equatorial bands) the close approach of mars in '89 ... ahh great days...

Ahem. yes. back on topic after a nostalgia break -

I am getting an A1-XE with G4/800 CPU card
512MB RAM
Z4-Tower to ATX conversion kit
Radeon 7000VE
and an Amiga engraved 5.25" faceplate  :-D
to go with the 20GB hard disk, CDRom and tower I have already.

might be nice to use this to get back into some Astro, eh !

ACE,

Me too !
I did Physics with Astro, though, at Leeds, 91-94
Where did you go ? I did apply to Leicester, looked nice, but they didnt offer me a place.

I did forget to mention the monitor - yup, I'll survive with me dodgy old Mikrovitek multisync until I can afford a TFT 15". (mmmmm TFT ! )
