> Slightly off topic, does anybody have any broad hints about where Amiga's German inventory disappeared to, as McEwan gave the distinct impression that they knew where it went. (There have been crates of Amiga boards that were sent back to Commodore Germany for repair/disposal come up for sale on ebay.de, although there may be a perfectly rational explanation as to why an individual is selling them.)

The remaining of comodore Germany were bought out by Vesalia (and maybe 3 1/2 Computer too).
I belive you are talking about those A1200 and A600 boards sold on Ebay ten each in a Commodore transport box. Those are sold by DCE. They are sold as untested and defective and that is true, out of the 10 A600 Boards I bougt only one worked and one had a defective IDE Port, the rest was dead. Well it was cheap and I only wanted the transportbox as a collectors item anyway.
Not really interesting, but it`s there.
