On schneider CPC / PCW Joyce 3" drives, the disc spindle is connected to the drive motor by a rubber Ribbon. This Ribbon ages weather it has been in used or not. Every 3" drive has a replacement ribbon by now for sure.
Not sure if something like that applies to the A3070 as well but as other have said before I'm confindent it will be worked out easyly if there would be such a problem.
