Banktransfers from one EU country to another should not cost one penny more then a banktransfer within your country. That is defined by EU law. Some banks still "offer" the old way of transfering and it is perfectly legal for them to charge this much, but upon request they should make a standard EU-transfer with no additional costs. Any hornest bank should handle it like that right away without you specially requesting it.
