As I said on the other tread, try to beat that:

128 MB on MKII
128 MB on DKB3128
 64 MB on Fastlane Z3
 16 MB on Mobo
---------------------
336 MB Fast total (plus 2MB Chip :-D )
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

I'm curious about the Z3 Fastlane. Firstly, how many of the upgraded ones are around, the ones that can take 256mb? What I mean is, are these rare boards or can you find them second-hand in similar quantities to DKB boards?

Nope they are a lot rarer, as none of those bords were sold directly, but you couls order an upgradeset of 3 GALs from P5. The fact that even filling up the Fastlane to the standard 64 MB costed an obscene amount of money back then and 16MB SIMMs costed even more (even P5 itselft is said to have never tested a full populated 256MB Fastlane as it was too expensive for them) lead to he fact that only very few upgradesets were sold. Unconfirmed rumors talk about 20 or so in total. I belive those rumors, as I am searching for that card since I knew of it`s existence and that are quite some years.

It would be very easy and cheap to reproduce this upgradeset for the Fastlane today, but unfotunately the plans for it got lost. I asked DCE if they could do it but they told me that the IP they bought of P5 did ot include FastalneZ3 stuff :-(
