Only DCE can do the upgrade, as there has to be done some tricks to the flashrom (flashing the 060er version while the 040 is still on is rumored to be possible but it`s triky)
I`m afraid there is no G-Rex for you too, as the Rev0 boards needed a Rework ( -> DCE) to run with the G-Rex. You could still use a Mediator though.
