E-UAE Question
« on: August 22, 2011, 09:17:28 PM »
Can some one explain to what happens when RTG is used in UAE?
I assume it is bypassing the chipset. How does this affect the speed and can it talk to hardware directly? Does it still go through the Host OS?
Thanks.

I was wondering how it could compare to Amithlon. It sounds like a re-write of AOS3.x without the chip set sounds ideal. Sounds like someone could make their own RTG drivers and to take benefit of the Host. I am not for sure how that would work.

I should know the answer to this one. For some reason I have not heard much about 3D in E-UAE.
Thanks for all of the replies. I am not on my main machine. I can not look anything up.
RTG does go well on my Amikit setup.

I wonder if it would be worth it to add an Amithlon installer on an Aros CD?
Cheers.
