What is the first KS that could boot from from an external floppy?

Thanks, I upgraded my A500 to 3.1 so that I could take advantage of that.
I also have the 1.2 or 1.3 KS.
I wish I could afford a switcher.

If I hear right, ks3.1 should be boot-able from disc.
