« on: June 02, 2010, 05:51:41 AM »
I want to save to buy a pro camcorder. Does anyone have a recommendations?

I am looking at the 1000.00 to 2000.00 US dollar range and the 2000.00 to 4000.00 us dollar range.
Thanks.

It reminds me of the commercial that is made by the Olympic camera.
I think it is a PEN.
I think that is right.

 Canon EOS 5D Mark II
That is a nice camera.
I will think of those types when I go to purchase.

Thanks everyone, my old boss wants me to do some work for him. I hope to save the money up from him and help my brother out too.
I have too many hobbies. lol

I like the interchange-able lenses. I guess the 3 CCD vs. CMOS debate is still going on today. I hear that CMOS is catching up.
I am looking to use these as a way to guage a camcorder.

2.Color Range.
3.Speed Range of Objects / CCD/CMOS Reaction Time. See Also Number 11

Looking at canon usa, the prices are high.
OEM sites are usually high anyway.

The GL2 looks good, but seems to have only a wide angle lens adapter.
Panasonic looks old school.

I wonder if the DSLR HD video gets warm compared to a camcorder.
I wonder if doing a frame grab would be a decent alternative to having a DSLR?

I hear in stopmotion animation a dslr can get warm. I am not for sure if that includes video.
So, frame grab is out of the question. lol
I hope the camcorders that can do snapshot while recording are good.
I wish I had the money for the Panasonic 4/3rds camcorder that is comming out this fall.
I believe it is about 6000 U.S. dollars.

The Canon "eject tape" problem has many people mad at Canon. What do you think Canon will do?
