PC floppy to Amiga back to PC

If I convert a PC floppy to Amiga and put it back into a PC will it work?

Does anyone know about how to convert a 1.44 mb floppy to a 720 K floppy.

What if Bios does not support 1.44 mb?

Does anyone know what the Density select on Pin 2 do?

Thanks, I really need to find out if I can convert a 1.44 mb floppy to a 720K floppy on a pc.
I do know that a 1.44 drive will work with 720K disks.
What if the bios does not support 1.44 drives?

Anyone have an idea as to when a 720K FDD was installed in a pc?
I have not a clue. I believe the drive was not around that much. The only other drive I can think of is a 5.25 FDD.
