Web IM Client
« on: June 20, 2007, 10:14:45 AM »
Does anyone know of an opensource web based Instant Messaging client I can install on my server?

All the usual ones like meebo etc are blocked by this ridiculous websense proxy here at work.

I work in the R&D dept and quite how we are supposed to research our development with limited access to the net is beyond me.

Why don't you just install a proxy on your server and bypass Websense altogether?

Because the web IM clients don't work through a proxy unfortunately, I've already tried that. :-)
