Hi!

Thanks for that. Im probably not going to spend too much time messing about with it just yet but it is nice to know it still works. When I have more time perhaps I can look at it but there is such a lot still to sort out after moving!

Is this emulator available for OSX/intel?

Why don't you ask Karlos?  You are "colleagues" after all.

Im not sure that would be a very good idea. First of all I have more important things to do at work and secondly I dont think hes much into Macs.

You will excuse me i hope, if i sounded a little rude.

There have been many trolls on this board before now, so i am unsure of your true identity.

Karlos,

You are an honest bloke who has been here forever.  Is she for real?

I was addressing Karlos.

Excuse me, I know my posting style might not demonstrate it well but I do write for a living. Only the second half of your post was addressed to him and the rest clearly aimed at me.

Then you would clearly have noticed that I had finished addressing you on the full-stop preceding the word "Karlos".

Maybe you should take the advice of X-Ray in the Coffee House thread?

I did notice. I also noticed that you insisted on questioning my gender, both to me and to him. If you believe Karlos is honest enough then you will see that he has already answered your question earlier.

I never understand why some men - if indeed you are one - feel so threatened by women taking an interest in technical subjects.

Because as we all know, women and computers are like men and chocolate.

That is enough to confirm to me that you are indeed a woman.

Only women and gay men are that pedantic about grammar.

You aren't a gay man are you?

Well, at least that means you won't have Mentalman fawning over you like the rest of the social inadequates (or maybe just aspergic individuals) you have attracted so far during your short tenure here ;-)

Erm, sour and moldy ?  :-D

CannonFodder, strange I never heard that word until I read your post here. Usually most of these terms are also present in Turkish. However, we use the word kafir to describe fasiq.

Doesn't kafir mean someone who doesn't believe in God, as opposed to fasiq meaning someone who does but doesn't obey the God?

I could have sworn I read one of your posts quite some time ago saying you believe but can't be bothered to obey, or something similar.

Hahaha, possibly that difference in meaning didn't make it into Turkish :) for us, you're a kafir either way, and fasiq has become obsolete ...

My thoughts about God changes daily. These days I don't really bother about his/her existance. I have other pressing matters like the feb 10 deadline for my term report ...

carpe diem dammit !

I'd say you were just disobedient then.

A very naughty boy! ;-)

Oh dear!

The language wars. Do people still argue over that one?

I thought it was common knowledge that C and C++ were the only languages for serious (non-web) development. I cant really understand why companies would use an entry-level language like Basic to develop real software.

Because people who can code in proper languages cost at least double the salary of VB "programmers".
