Yes, the M-Tec E-Matrix 630 conflicts with the PCMCIA slot if it has 8 MB on it. The Apollo 630 can take 32 MB while being PCMCIA friendly.
Power Computing sold both of them as Viper 630 in the UK. They sold any accelerators for any Amiga from any manufacturer as Viper.
DCE had nothing to do with any of the 630 accelerators.
