"We have frozen the development of v0.9x of Magic Engine, we are now working only on the new v1.0. [...] This version will use OpenGL, and starting from v1.0 the Mac version will be an OS X native application. An Amiga port (OS 4) of Magic Engine may be possible too, we are thinking to that at the moment. If we do this port, we will start to work on it after the release of v1.0. Good point, Rodney.
But Magic Engine is shareware, not open source. If people want it, they'll have to pay for it (or make clear they're willing to). I'm not used to pay for something that I don't intend to use ;-)
