The Timberwolf archive is complete. The problems is that the last version fails to create some essential index files on first run on certain machine/Filesystem combinations.
Thus someone updating would not have any problems. A fresh install will .
Unarc and copy the following files to your Timberwolf directory and give it a try

The os4depot version was uploaded by one of the authors .
The Aminet version was uploaded by a third party .
Anyway my method works for getting the os4depot version running .

Spectre660,

The timberwolf archive on OS4depot is not complete as it is missing all the directories.  If you take and copy the directories from the Aminet dir to the os4depot version, it works.  If you don't believe me, download Timberwolf from Aminet and os4depot and compare them.  You will find that the .252 version on os4depot is missing all the folders.

Comment by: Spectre660 (209.59.126.236)At: 30 Aug 2013, 15:51File version: 4.0.1.0252Fresh install wont work on AmigaOS 4.1 Update 6 with a Sam440ep-flex and Sam460ex.
Seems as if there is a problem creating  the files that are normally created at first run.
If these directories and files are copied from an old install then the new install will work

You posted that July 2014.  I have the archive from 2013 when I down loaded it and emails with Hans from then.  My download from 2013 is the exact same one that I recently downloaded missing the folders.  So nobody but this one guy from the Hyperion link actually looked into it and found that the folders were missing from the current version.  Sad.

Did you compare OS4depot to aminet?  Then once you see the folders are missing and copy them from the aminet archive to os4depot, it will work.  Everybody complains that the new .252 does not even work.  I have told you why and you continue to argue with me and try to defend yourself.  Move on and lets get the archive corrected.

A security feature of os4depot prevents anyone except the original uploader from replacing files . a good thing indeed.
