.... I wired up a 23 to vga converter with the 74hct08 chip and cap but it didn't work. Does it work on an A500. I Was sick when I made the adapter so maybe I got it wrong.
Had an ESC scandoubler but screwed it up trying to install in the 500.(blackscreen). Put it back in the A600 but still no joy.
I have one here, definitely works.

I just used a 74LS08 in my adapter, though the HCT should work as well.
