The Video Toaster is an NTSC 4 input composite switcher for the Amiga Computer Systems.  The original one will run only on non-AA systems, and the 4000 Toaster will run on either one with the jumpers set correctly.   The Flyer is a two channel compressed video board that attaches to either model of amiga toaster and makes your Amiga into an NTSC Non-Linear Editor.   The Flyer requires at least 3 SCSI drives to work, and supports up to 21 on its 3 independent SCSI channels.   All source code for the latest version of the Video Toaster/Flyer is available as open source with the exception of the 3D package lightwave, as well as all the source code for all of the programs I personally wrote for the Toaster and Flyer.    Rumor is I might have built the original disks for the open source effort.
