- CTRL-A-A quits out of Amibench instead of doing a reset after AmiBrowser has been used
This is fixed for me, and I was sure the fix was public by now. The only quirk is that it is still the same instance of ArmCEF running in the background as libcef only allows the cef system to be initialised once for any program using it. 99% of the time this is no issue.
For best results shutdown or reboot via the AmiBench Menu->AmiBench->Reboot entry as this runs a shutdown script that cleans up instances of YAM and AmiBrowser.
- Bluetooth sound is pain in the a**, either not working at all or laggy and choppy, even changing quality every 3 seconds (tested with 2 pairs of speakers and a (not cheap) headset)
Blue tooth is my main way of using audio with the A600GS and apart from an occasional crackle it seems to work OK here. Bluetooth audio in general ain't great thou and prone to interference.
the memory overflow workaround (white dot) is really annoyng while working with/on mainly dark screens
I work on dark screens all the time, can't even find the white half the time, unfortunately there is no other way to stop the issue at present, and the leak is far more interfering than the white dot ...
- while using a wb window and list the files as names you get artifacts of the outlined white font (see screenshot)
Yes on my todo list to fix.
- the System Monitor is constantly triggering infos in the background, which causes slowdowns while file transfer, not very high but noticable, maybe change the update interval ?
These ENVGUAGE entries are accidental leftover from the eariler version desgned to work with the AK Sensor package, I've removed them from the icon now. Leaving one disabled as an example. I've also added an extra tooltype ENVATTEMPTS that limits the number of tries to read the variable.
Note the UPDATE tooltype sets the number of seconds between updates for the filesystem and other noon CPU / TEMP gauges. And the ENVGUAGE syntax allow for the same KEYWORD to be used to set a separate rate for any given ENVGUAGE.
- after using AmiBrowser for downloading, sometimes I get an error about not getting a response from server even if the internet connection is ok, causing Amibench to lock up and/or not showing mouse pointer any more
Not seen this problem any particular site that causes it? Where do you see the error message.? THis error might indicate a windo open request of somekind I need to intercept.
- will there be an update to Amiberry in the near future since at 5.8.10, we already get a performance boost for some problematic games like Jim Powers ? We already got 5.9.x out there and A600GS is still on 5.8.7
Working on it. AHI performance is testing very well under it, amongst other things....
