Question to all Amiga owners

Am i the only one waiting for an X1000?   or have others giving up waiting..

I know that we should be thankful for choice, but Amiga Technologies managed to get the Amiga back out to high street dealers..  

There does seem to be a lack of getting this machine out to buyers..

Send a ticket request to amigakits website and I they don't respond in a timely fashion then send an email to a-eon on their website

I have,  and several emails strange as its been over a year and i've emailed Amigakit and A-EON several times and i was dropped off the list and put on again..  been very frustrating.

X1000 is nice, but why not get Sam they are availlable.

The classic scene on the other hand is really showing some interesting signs of life, with new software, new FPGA hardware and even updates to the original OS (eg the amazing new icon.library).

I've actually owned every Amiga including the A3000T (which on record is the heaviest machine i've owned) but i just have an A4000 which i love,  i did have an A4000T CyberstormPPC which I sold to a scientist in Germany they needed the machine for speciality programs on 68k and PPC side.
I've been an Amiga owner since I was 16, i'm now 41.. it's great to see hardware and support for classic Amiga's.. just wish someone would make a realy fast 060 accelerator card.. even the CD32 is missing out.

having used the X1000 several times at amiwest shows past, it's an unbelievably good machine. it's definitely worth the wait in my opinion. good luck!

Thank you for all your comments and advise.  I know amiga dealers do a great job..  we wait...

AmigaKit have sent me a message,  maybe they find my trails of emails again.

Someone has already developed a 100Mhz+ real 060 card using modern fast memory but that is not available for a real classic machine unfortunately (FPGA Arcade only).

People have just started to develop FPGA based accelerators so maybe one day we'll get some new fast 060 (FPGA) accelerators.
