hi,

how many devices the A2008 can handle?
problem is: i own an A2008-Controller and want to connect a HD. is it possible to connect an IDE-CDRom, too? is the A2008 able to handle master/slave configurations?

I'd guess any standard IDE controller can handle two devices

...well, maybe not...
some older hardware-devices (f.e. cdroms) were never build with a CableSelect or SLAVE option (even the non-propitary). thats why i wanted to know how many devices the A2008 can handle - i'm not quite sure if it is a standard-ide controller.

yes, i took a look at www.amiga-hardware.com - no success there....
