Ordered my AmigaOne X5000 from Amiga On The Lake in USA

A bit dismayed.... no X5K yet.  Was supposed to ship back on the 9th but has not.  Feeling down at the moment trying to be patient for it to actually ship.  :confused:

Considering this is a new dealer its not a good start. If I were you and it hasnt shipped yet i wouldnt have them ship it during christmas rush

Interesting, when I received my X1000 in December 2012, a few days before Christmas, It took just 3 days to arrive from Cardiff, Wales, UK.  Why on earth would it take more than twice as long to arrive from upstate New York ?  Anyway hope you enjoy the X5000.  Would be interested to know how you think it compares to your old X1000.

This us dealer is new and im sure doesnt have a lot of resources. I dont think you guys realize that amigakit is a relatively big business in comparison.

Have fun with your awesome machine. I played with an x5000 at amiwest its pretty awesome. I think AOL needs to really really package these things extra careful, especially with ups which has no external oversight like USPS

So for now ordered a new 8169 based NIC and will try a different one as someone else I knew had same type of issue and he replaced his card and was online.  Hoping that cures my issue too.

Where did you find 8169 boards?
