Im quite sure there will be almost no news announced. However, that is much preferred to fake announcements.. e.g the infamous os4 laptop that was "already running" when the presentation was given. That was a good one. Lots of good (or bad) amiga vapour stories but that one to me was the worst. Especially when it was timed with the announcement of Morphos to PPC mac laptops.

Magnetic: the infamous os4 laptop that was "already running"

It wouldn't surprise me if it was running, in a bare form (the underlying kernel?), at Hyperion, with the boot security code / check removed, purely as a proof of concept.  Running != usable.

Of course it was never runnning for real, thats obvious now even to the fanboys. I'm impressed the morphos camp hid their laughing about this back then and still do. It was pretty pathetic.

There will be no SMP in our lifetime on Amiga NG, can we stop talking silly?

Also there is no x86 os4 project.

Project Moana was the way to go.
