Yes it is undadvisable.  It just isn't worth the risk of damaging things.

I really dont know what you are basing these statements on.. Of course you can run a Blizz 1260 in a desktop a1200 case with the org psu. As a matter of fact, an 060 takes LESS power than an 030! Also a stock 060@50mhz runs pretty cool imho.
