yes there is an adaptor that plugs into the amiga joyports and lets you use PS controllers.

I used a playstation controller to usb adaptor with morphos 1.4 years ago! Worked well.. Do you guys think my PS2 controller will work with it?

Well it seems you can use a PS2 controller on a PS1 so maybe my playstation usb adaptor will work with the ps2 controller in storage. I'll have to check it out.
