You need to copy 4xEIDE.driver to your emergency disk's C: folder, then modify the startup-sequence to call it right after SETPATCH.
Edit: Sorry, it looks like the Elbox installer puts it before SETPATCH. Here's the bit of script that gets added to the top of the SS. Of course, for an emergency disk you only need the "C:4xEIDE.driver QUIET" line.
